SSAA Q39 Branch – Shooting Range:   Bookings are essential. No booking – no shooting.

We are open to the public 9am-noon Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Exclusive Use is available 12:30-3:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Exclusive Use is also available on Wednesdays 9am-noon

Range & Office are closed on Thursdays.

Annual Range Pass: The financial year is 01.07.2024-30.06.2025. Renewals have been emailed to current members. If you have not received your renewal, please contact us as several have bounced back and are still being retried.

If you would like to hold an Annual Range Pass which offers a discount Range fee per shoot, please contact us.

Grants: We are very grateful to Sports and Recreation, and also to the Qld Rural & Industry Development Authority for Grants to repair the Range after flood damage.

We would like to thank Gympie Regional Council for a Grant for works to improve the Range for mobility challenged participants.

We would also like to thank the Qld Gov and the Gambling Community Benefit Fund for a Grant to install a Disability Access Path with a handrail.

Range Availability: The Range Availability calendar is updated each time there is a change.

Junior Shooters fee increase: From 01 September the fee for Junior Shooters will be $10.00 for Cat A/B and for Cat H.

Firearm Safety Courses: For bookings or information please contact the Course Instructors on 0438826202. The next Safety Course is on 02 November.

Staplers: Please bring your own means (stapler or tape) to attach targets to the supplied backing boards.

Targets:  SSAA Paper targets are $3.00 each.
