Welcome to the ‘Wattle Grove Park’ Trophy Wall

Our aim is to publish select photos from highly successful hunting trips made by us and our friends who share the passion for adventure .

The galleries can be viewed by hovering the mouse over the Trophy Wall and selecting galleries of interest to you.

If you would like to submit a memorable photo, please send us a picture at a resolution of 800 x 600 with a short story and we will endeavour to post it on the wall for you.

Please note that the Range & Office are closed August 18-27 due to the confounded Country Music Muster. It is too dangerous to travel on Amamoor Creek Road as tourists, trucks and twits have no idea how to stay on their side of a narrow country road – and that’s on the bitumen section!

Because we care about our shooters we will not reopen until 27 August.

‘Wattle Grove Park’ Gun Shop: We are open 9am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-noon Saturday. Closed Thursdays and Sundays. Email only.

SSAA Q39 Branch – Shooting Range: Bookings are essential. No booking – no shooting.

We are open to the public 9am-noon Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Exclusive Use is available 12:30-3:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Exclusive Use is also available on Wednesdays 9am-noon

Range & Office are closed on Thursdays.

Annual Range Pass: The financial year is 01.07.2024-30.06.2025. Renewals have been emailed to current members. If you have not received your renewal, please contact us as several have bounced back and are still being retried.

If you would like to hold an Annual Range Pass which offers a discount Range fee per shoot, please contact us.

Grants: We are very grateful to Sports and Recreation, and also to the Qld Rural & Industry Development Authority for Grants to repair the Range after flood damage.

We would like to thank Gympie Regional Council for a Grant for works to improve entry for mobility challenged participants.

Range Availability: The Range Availability calendar is updated each time there is a change.

Firearm Safety Courses: For bookings or information please contact the Course Instructors on 0438826202. The next Safety Course is booked for 31 August.

Gun Shows: Brisbane Arms Fair: October 05 (9am-3pm) & 06 (9am-1pm). Maryborough Arms Fair: October 27 (9am-4pm) & 28 (9am-2pm).

Staplers: Please bring your own means (stapler or tape) to attach targets to the supplied backing boards.

Targets: SSAA Paper targets are $3.00 each.
